Hypoparathyroid Awarness Campaign

About the project
The Problem:
Living with hypoparathyroidism—a rare disease—often means feeling overlooked, misunderstood, or invisible. Many in the community describe their experience as isolating, with symptoms dismissed or misinterpreted. Awareness is low, and for those living with it, their condition often goes unseen—much like a wilted flower in an otherwise blooming field.
The Solution:
This design for Amolyt Pharma brings visibility to the unseen. Centered around the company’s butterfly logo, a monarch rests on a uniquely zebra-striped flower—symbolizing both the distinctiveness of rare disease experiences and the diversity of thoughts within the hypopara community. The striped petals reference the complexity of symptoms, while the flower’s wilted posture subtly conveys the struggle of being misunderstood or misdiagnosed. By blending Amolyt’s core brand colors—vibrant purples and warm oranges—into the composition, the piece reflects the company's active role in support and care. The butterfly, vibrant and present, represents Amolyt’s mission to uplift this community. Now a part of AstraZeneca, the visual narrative continues as a symbol of hope, recognition, and forward momentum for those living with rare disease.
